Anwell Veterinary Centre was as an established Surrey practice over 50 years ago. Gregory and Melody bought the practice in December 1998. Since then it has grown from strength to strength, expanding with a new branch in Caterham in August 2015. We currently have 2 full time veterinary surgeons, 4 registered veterinary nurses, 4 receptionists, a practice manager and 2 trainee nurses.

We have two spacious and well equipped consultation rooms, which have been designed to make you and your pet feel relaxed and at ease.
We provide appointments between 9am-7pm Monday to Friday, and between 9am-1pm Saturdays. Appointments usually run for 15 minutes per patient. In some cases, appointments can be 30 minutes long depending on service or treatment required. We will always try to nook an appointment with your preferred vet if possible.
We have a fully equipped operating theatre with a variety of surgical instrumentation available. A wide range of surgical procedures may be performed by our experienced vets on a daily basis. We use the safest anaesthetic agents and protocols available, with patients being monitored closely by suitable qualified nursing staff before, during and after the procedure. Advanced monitoring equipment is used to measure vital parameters at all times.
We are very well equipped to perform comprehensive dental procedures. We also have a dental x-ray machine so you can be assured your pet is receiving the best treatment using the latest equipment.
We can also provide a variety of diagnostic services including radiography, endoscopy, opthalmology and inhouse laboratory screening facilities.
Our kennel room is light and spacious, providing accommodation for your pets in a comfortable, home-from-home environment. We have a large garden area where patients can be exercised and toileted as they would at home. We also have an isolation unit and an incubator for more critical patients.
Nurse consultations are available at our Croydon branch throughout the day for dietary and preventative healthcare advice and vaccinations. Our qualified and knowledgeable nurses also provide clinical for weight loss, microchipping and dental checks.
We opened our branch in Caterham back in August 2015. Set in 20 acres of Surrey countryside, this branch provides a peaceful environment for your poorly pet. There is plenty of parking available and also benefits from being on the same site as Freer Farm Kennels and Cattery, which has an excellent reputation and gives the convenience of having your pet treated and boarded all in one place. Our Freer Farm branch is also accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons so you can be sure your cherished pet is receiving the very best standard of care.
